Alan Alexander

Milne (January 18, 1882. January 31, 1956 ) - English novelist, author of childrens books Winnie the Pooh ( 1926) and House at Pooh Corner (1928). Alan Alexander Milne was b orn in London in Hartfield, the third son of John Vine s Milne, director of Henley House, a private school for boys, and Sarah Maria Milne. He had two older brothers, David Barrett and Kenneth John. Oldest brother Alan did not suffer, but it is unclear why. Very important role in his life played by the second brother.
